About Me:: I'm a 28 year-old working mother of two toddlers. I work in an interactive marketing agency as a consultant. I am the wife of an Iraqi Freedom Veteran. I am a writer, a blogger, a crafter. I'm a quilter, a Civil War History buff, a pet owner, and an internet marketer. I'm an avid reader and I've climbed a mountain in the Adirondacks.

From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:: Do what works for you and your family. Experts are great, but don't feel pressured to be a textbook mom. There's no such thing. There's also no such thing as a perfect SuperMom.

What makes you hybrid?: I am a working mom with two toddlers. I try to balance family life with volunteer work, my crafts and other art forms. I read and am an aspiring writer. I have four blogs (yes, I'm crazy) and I am an above average internet user. I work on it all day, I better know what's out there!

I love writing so I tend to do it a LOT. Whether it be college football articles, blogging for my company, or just writing articles and trying to get them published, I'm always coming up with new writing topics.

I'm in the process of getting to launch another blog site (yes, I'm crazy) called A Month of Stuff; it's completely devoted to featuring bloggers and it's all centered around a monthly theme. The first one is 31 Days of Make Believe. It's been so popular, I have to do it on two blogs and a new blog has been born (or is about to be, anyway)!

I am also the founder of Positive Living, a social network about trying to live a more positive life. We'd love it if you stopped by and joined us!

Calling all Hybrid Moms to Help Me Out!

As many of you know from the badge on my page, I'm participating in the Breast Cancer 3Day in Cleveland in just over a month. My training walks are going well, but I need A LOT of help in the fundraising arena. I can't walk unless I hit a minimum amount and I only need 70 people to donate $20 to get me there. Beauty can be found anywhere

I just got back from an annual trip that my husband, kids and I make every summer. We went to Waynesburg, PA where we attend my husband's family reunion. I love it. Even though the economy is incredibly depressed there and the lifestyle is well below the American average, it's a beautiful place. You can see why I love visiting Waynesburg in my Unexpected Art Blog.
